Sadly and suddenly, Mike passed away in Burnaby on January 18, 2010. Mike was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and lived in Richmond, B.C. for most of his life. Mike enjoyed hockey, barbequing, sport fishing, boating and spending time with his family. He was a metal fabricator / heavy-duty mechanic by trade and worked for several local companies where he was thought of as family. Mike had great interest in the restoration of cars and his boat "The Rye Whisky". Mike was a devoted father, and loved his family dearly. He is survived by his father Brad, brother Kirk, his two children Jerret and Ashley and mother, the late Alexis Lensen. Mike was taken from us too soon and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial will be held Saturday, February 27/10, 1-4 pm at 27 - 11125 232 Street Maple Ridge.
No service by request in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The United Way.
