"Sometimes tears are the highest form of a compliment"
I think people forget that. I think people equate tears to sadness but in writing this, well it's truly the furthest thing we feel. On January 11, 2020 our Mom, Myrna Brown, ran straight into the arms of our Dad, the love of her life, Gordon Brown.
In case you're new to our story, this means that she has left this earth and ascended. She became a star as we say, and is now in the loving company of our Dad and her parents (our Grama and Grampa ) Inez and James Wilkie. Left here to look skyward on the nights when we miss our stars the most is myself, Tracy Brown and my brother Gord Brown with his sons Spence and Colton Brown.
I know there are so many other people to be mentioned, so many friends and loved ones to add and to thank. So I will say this. To everyone who loved her, to even those who just simply knew her, look up when the night sky is clear and the stars peek out. She'll be the new star you hadn't recalled seeing the night before. Say hi and tell her a story or two and try not to become too sad. You see that bright and brilliant new star is our Mom, and I promise she's the happiest she's ever been.
In lieu of flowers please simply take the time and look up.
