Nettie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Nettie is survived by her husband Peter, daughter Sandra, sons Robert and David, grandchildren Shane and Ryan and great grandchild Kai. Nettie was raised in Canora, Saskatchewan and had seven sisters and one brother. Nettie worked for over 20 years as a nurses aid at the Vancouver General Hospital and several rest homes.
Nettie was vibrant, fun loving and generous. Nettie loved to dance, sing and play baseball. On behalf of Nettie's wishes, no service will be held.
