Nicholas Brendan “Nick” Trask

February 5, 1983 – June 9, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Nick Trask. Nick was born in Mission and grew up in Maple Ridge all his life. He loved adventure and anything with a motor – a passion that started at an early age under the watchful eye of his late father Ben Trask. Nick enjoyed 4x4ing, camping, fishing and his favourite place was just being on the water. He had a contagious smile, gentle spirit and protective nature for his family and those he loved. Nick was the first to show up lending a hand whenever needed. It is no surprise he had a large circle of friends and is dearly missed by all. Nick is survived by his loving wife Melissa of 17 years, his two sons Vincent and Evan, mother Jill, sister Casey (Nick), niece Mariah, nephews Nolan, Silas, Liam and Landen, his in-laws Maureen and Gary, Brandon, Tyler and Tamara, other extended family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe page in Nick’s honour to help support Melissa and the boys in this difficult time: https://www.gofundme.com/in-loving-memory-of-nick-trask. A service will be held at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969-216 Street, on Thursday June 20, 2019 at 2 pm. Condolences may be sent to www.mapleridgefuneral.ca
