SANDERS, Norman Neal
December 12, 1929 - August 13, 2006
Norman Neal Sanders was born on James Island, December 12, 1929. Norm is survived by wife, Geri, children Mitch (Jacqueline), Shari (Brian) and Grant (Lisa), his grandchildren Nicholas, Aleasha, Rob, Scott, Chase, Cole, Courtney and Carson, and his brother Dennis (Vicki). Norm was a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. Norm loved life, and his laughter, great humour and generosity will be a legacy for all to remember. Norm loved the outdoors, and spent many memorable years with family and friends hunting, fishing and camping. In more recent years Norm, family and friends enjoyed his summer home in Lake Osoyoos. Norm amazed everyone with his love for his "toys" - quads, seadoos, boats and most recently a dirt bike for his grand- children. At Osoyoos Norm loved his garden, the hot sun, the water and enjoyed when company or family arrived. Norm's family wishes to express deep gratitude to the staff at Royal Columbian Hospital's ICU staff. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers is appreciated.
