Paula Philomena Vital Yeo-West Nee; Vandenbosch resident of Maple Ridge passed away November 8th, 2017 at the age of 87 years.
Paula was born in Wisele, Belgium on January 19th, 1930 to Rosalia Joanna and Ludovicus Karolus Vandenbosch. Paula immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband Raymond Lonthie and had one daughter, Anne-Marie. Paula got remarried to Clement Yeo-West and had two children, Rosalee and Clement who reside in Maple Ridge.
Paula is survived by her family of three children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild due in January. Her grandchildren whom she cherished the most are, Avery, Brielle, Chalayne, Chrissi, Sunil and Julien.
She will be miss by her extended family; Dean, Robert and Craig.
Paula is survived by her two sister's in Belgium; Mariette Rondou and her husband Lucien and Gabrielle Gypen-Vandenbosch and their children, Brigitte, Dominique and Danielle and their children.
Our mother also appreciated and valued her friendships maintained over many years, Anne, Noella, Girta and Joyce.
Paula was well known as a seamstress and knitter. She perfected her craft with over 70 years of practice. She donated most of her knitting to charitable causes in Maple Ridge.
Paula was a devoted mother, she loved and supported her three children until the end of her life. Paula gave more than she received and that is how she will be remembered by those who loved her.
