KOEMSTED, Pearl Elizabeth (nee Crowe) was born on January 26, 1930 and left us suddenly on December 9, 2013. Our beloved Pearl is survived by her partner, Al Swaine, sisters Marg Graham and Doe Crowe, and children Ted (Anne), Wendy (Al) Gillespie, Ken (Janice) and stepchildren Lynne Roming and Dave (Marie) Hoeft, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by brother Bill Crowe (Penny) and grandson Paul. Pearl was a long time resident of Port Coquitlam where she owned Family Ceramics and will be remembered for teaching many classes at Wilson Centre.
She moved to Chase where she spent 22 years being involved with countless clubs and groups. Pearl recently returned to Maple Ridge to be close to her family. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Victoria Hall (”Dogpatch” - 3435 Victoria Drive) in Port Coquitlam. Service at 2pm with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local Royal Canadian Legion Branch would honour her memory.
