Passed away suddenly on January 14, 2017
Predeceased by his wife Fran of 42 years. He will be missed and remembered by his parents Les and Dorothy Rolfe, his son Derek (Chris) and daughter Lindsay (James), sister Daphne (Barrie) and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. As well as many relatives and good friends throughout the world.
The family immigrated to Canada in 1957. Peter quickly adjusted to life in Vancouver; attending school, making friends and joining Scouts. In his teens he played rugby and was a member of the 754 Squadron Air Cadets. He enjoyed camping, water skiing and scuba diving. He loved to cook and travel. Peter coached soccer and after retirement he continued to volunteer with the BC soccer association. He also volunteered with the Maple Ridge SPCA and the Food Bank. He enjoyed watching hockey and football.
