Dyer, Rebecca “Beckie” Cassandra
It is with our deepest regret we are announcing the passing of our beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend Beckie.
Rebecca Cassandra Dyer born February 17, 1991 was taken from us suddenly Tuesday October 19, 2010 in a tragic car accident. Beckie was with the love of her life John De Oliveira at the time she was taken to heaven.
Beckie led a life filled with joy, laughter and thoughtfulness towards others. Beckie devoted her life to others around her selflessly with volunteer work which was recognized when she received the Lynn Papp Community Service Award. Beckie’s time & efforts raising money for the Variety Club are not soon to be forgotten. Beckie did not limit her efforts to just those people around her but also embraced the animal world as well volunteering with various animal rights/rescue organizations. Beckie was taking her young life’s dream of helping others with her on her path to adulthood with schooling and career choice of becoming a nurse.
Beckie would want us all to remember her favorite quote and as it was her life pledge:
“Be the change you want to see in the world” Ghandi
