It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Richard (Ricky) Philip Harmes in Maple Ridge, BC on April 19th 2020. Will be forever loved and missed by soulmate Margaret Scholar of 25 years.
Father to Adam and Amanda Shayler, Grandfather to Carter and Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Doug (Aileen), Robert (Carol), Earl, Deanna (Terry), Darlene (Jerry), Denise, and Robbie. Predeceased by Harry and Hilda (parents), (brother) Lester (Mikey), (sisters) Peggy (Ken), Jean, Barbara, and Marion (Butch). Numerous Nieces & Nephews, and cousins. Best friend of Randy Clark and racing buddies of Lou Kingma, & Judy Plater on his computer. And of course his blessed buddy Andre Francis as well as many others.
Ricky worked at the Cannery for 20 + years right up until the doors were closed. Polycon Industries was his last job before he retired with an eye injury. There will be a Celebration of Rickys' life announced at a later date.
Will be Forever loved and missed by Margaret and Frick until we meet again.
