June 3, 1950 - October 18, 2020
On Oct 18, 2020, after a long and hard battle with cancer, Richard Sisson a Maple Ridge resident of 40 years passed away peacefully beside his beloved wife Sandy.
Born June 3rd, 1950 in Trail B.C. to Dick and Vivian Sisson, Ric had a heart of gold and a keen sense of humour. He was an active member of the community, an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and always the life of the party.
For over 55 years Ric and his brother Rob, led the family business Coquitlam towing started by their late father.
He's survived by his wife of nearly 50 years Sandy, daughters Sheryl-Ann & Sandra (Andrew), mother Vivian, Brother Rob (Shawn), nephew Greg, niece Krista and many others.
A family only graveside service will be held at Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date, when gatherings are permitted.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations are made in memory of Ric to the BC Cancer Society or by donating blood.
I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ridge Meadows Hospital, especially medical daycare for all the love and care they provided Ric for the last three years. He loved you all, knew all your names and I'm sure your birthdays as well.
