Bob worked for many years at International Paper, where he spent most of his career, building strong friendships along the way.
Bob and Linda loved to travel. Whether it be in Bob's 55 Chevy with the Golden Ears Car Club, spending time at their property at Nicola Lake, or a trip to Nashville, New Orleans, Las Vegas or Reno, there was always lots of laughter and stories to be told, many which were known to stretch the truth.
Bob enjoyed an early retirement which gave him an opportunity to attend his daily meetings at Tim's for coffee with his buddies. In the end, Bob lived the life he wanted and that is all anyone can ask.
Bob is survived by his wife Linda of 46 years, his son Robert (Helen), grandchildren Darren and Jada, siblings Allen, Gary, Marylou, Wesley and Kathy. Also special friends Bill and Robbie.
In fear of forgetting the names of numerous family, friends and coworkers who meant the world to him, I want to thank each and every one of you for touching his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes or a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
