O'BRAY Robert James. Feb 15, 1988 ~ May 5, 2012. Left us too soon at the age of 24, after a year long courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his mother Donna Mae O'Bray. Left to mourn are his grandmother Barbara Thingstad, foster family Darrel, Melissa, Riley and Emily Clint. Also close friends and supporters Pat and Clem Binette, Mildred, Har and Bart Thomas, the Ross family and many community friends. Rob had two church families, Port Coquitlam Christian Assembly and Grace Community Church. Robert volunteered in his Maple Ridge community through the SPCA, Friends in Need Food Bank and Meals on Wheels. Robert will be remembered for his love of life, friends, church and country music. A celebration of Rob's life will be held May 16 at 3:00 PM at Grace Community Church, 12240 Harris Road, Pitt Meadows. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the B.C. Cancer Agency at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
