Robert passed from this life to the next safely in the arms of Jesus joining his beloved wife Mona. He is survived by his sister Doreen Driver of Spruce Grove, Alberta, several nieces, nephews and cousins and his five children, son Lorne (Charlotte) of Maple Ridge, daughter Elaine Hooiveld (John) of Dewdney, son Darrell (Rosalie) of Maple Ridge, daughter Linda Birch (Bruce) of Quesnel, and son Ken (Norma) of Quesnel. Robert is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 ½ great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Burnett Fellowship, 20639 – 123 Ave., Maple Ridge on Saturday September 5, 2009 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in support of Robert’s granddaughter, Missionary Melisa Birch – to North Star Baptist Church, 301 North Star Road, Quesnel B.C. V2J 5K2.
