September 18, 1937 - April 1, 2019
Born Sept. 18th, 1937 in New Westminster. Passed away on April 1st in Maple Ridge. Pre-deceased by father Gerald, mother Lillian and brother David, Wes is survived by his beloved wife Linda, along with loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and many long-time friends.
Wes was an enthusiastic gardener who worked for over twenty years with Parks and Recreation at the City of Port Coquitlam. He savoured the small pleasures in life, and was a great connector; he loved to keep in touch with his many friends and family. He was always ready with some affable banter and an encouraging word. Wes was a steadfast husband and friend, and a blessing to those who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Memorial Service with reception to follow to be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 27th, at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, 21299 River Road, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation, or a charity of choice.
