June 9, 1936 - June 8, 2018
Rod began his final adventure on Friday, June 8th, the day before his 82nd birthday.
He will be lovingly remembered by Lynn, his wife of 52 years, daughters Joan Nightingale (Ed), Kristan, and Karen Werger (Steve), grandchildren Michael and Sarah Nightingale and Jordan and Taylor Werger, brother David (Jacquie) and sister, Marilyn Paull, and by his extended family and many friends.
Rod faced his battle with COPD with humor and courage. He treasured his memories of Australia and enjoyed many trips in his RV. He will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM July 6th, 2018, at Bakerview Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, B.C.
