It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ron Chatwin on Saturday January 8th, 2022. Survived by his partner Elizabeth Polacek, his children John (Kim), Darwin, Lisa (Fred) , Lori (Garry), Don (Kris) and stepson Mike (Lisa). Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Ron lived in Maple Ridge his entire life, he worked for School District 42 as a locksmith and was a long time member of the Maple Ridge Lapidary Club and the Maple Ridge Ham Radio Club. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Ron loved nothing more than sitting with his family in front of a fire by a lake with his Camper and his Quad ready for the next days adventure.
Dad, you were our own Mr. Gadget, we have missed the long talks about the latest phone, radio and flashlight around the table. Rest in Peace.
We would like to thank the staff of Holyrood for the care they give to all their residents.
A Celebration of life will be organized in the near future.
