AUSTRING, Ruth Naomi
Died peacefully on Oct. 5th, 2009, a few days short of her 90th birthday. Ruth was a long time R.N. at the Royal Columbian Hospital and the Peace Arch Hospital. Born on the homestead near Swift Current Saskatchewan, Ruth grew up in Pitt Meadows. She bought her own home in the Crescent Beach area and lived there from the mid 1950’s to the mid 1990’s, when she returned to Pitt Meadows. She is survived by her sister Carolla Lightfoot and 22 nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 24th at 2 p.m. in the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (Osborn’s), 11969-216th St. In lieu of flowers, donations to B.C.
