COOPER ~ Sarah Jane
Passed away on May 1st at Cartier House in Coquitlam at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her Husband George of 49 years. Is survived by her sons, Tony (Valerie); Mike (Mary); Brian (Joanne); Philip (Pauline); daughter, Anna Cooper; Brother Joseph (Kathleen) McCaighy of Lisburn, Northern Ireland; as well as 10 grandchildren: Andrea, Kurtis, Cameron, Joshua, Rachel, Keiko, Matthew, David, Diana, and Kevin, 3 great grandchildren: Isaac, Hanna and Erin and numerous nieces & nephews. Prayers will be held on Thursday May 8 at 7pm, at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 115 Walker Street, Coquitlam and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima, Coquitlam. Interment to follow in the Robson Street Cemetery Coquitlam. Sarah was very committed to her faith and was an active member of the Catholic Women's League for many years through both All Saints Parish and Our Lady of Fatima, both in Coquitlam. It is with special thanks to the ladies of the CWL of Our Lady of Fatima for including her in their activities during her declining years. And it is with thanks to the staff at Christmas Manor for their attention while she resided there prior to moving to Cartier House. Also it is with special thanks for the kindness and care Mom received at Cartier House Care Home.
