February 12, 1937 - December 11, 2020
It is with profound sadness we announce that Shirley was called to heaven. Shirl passed peacefully with her husband of 65 years and son by her side. Shirl is survived by her husband (Harry) and son (Steve), predeceased by sisters Bev and Joy and leaves behind her beloved dogs Katie, Echo and Jasmine.
Shirley was born in V.G.H. raised in East Vancouver, schooled at Lord Selkirk and Gladstone, moved to North Burnaby in 1955 were she and her husband raised their family. In 1994 they moved to Maple Ridge.
Shirley will be remembered by family, friends and acquaintances as a very kind, giving, compassionate and brave person that donated generously to charities and supported many causes.
The world has lost a beautiful person but Shirley will live forever deep in our hearts.
