It is with great sadness and heartbreak we announce the passing of Sonja C. Nielsen(nee Sorensen) of Pitt Meadows. b. Feb.4, 1938 in Copenhagen, Denmark, passed at home Apr. 22, 2020. Predeceased by husband Niels, sister Lillian and Frankie(best dog in the world). survived by sister Birgit(Alf), children, Jim, John(Leanne), and Susan along with grandchildren Lindsay, Jordan, Reed and Cole.
Sonja loved gardening, walking Frankie through the neighborhood and making sure the birds were happy and fed.
A celebration of a wonderful life/open house at a future date when everything is safer will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations to Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research or the SPCA would be greatly appreciated. Ma loved the critters and the critters loved her!
