Stephen Karp Jr. left us on November 18, 2013. Born in Noranda, Quebec in May 1952 he leaves behind his loved Lolly, Dolly, mother Martine, brother Joe, sisters Monique and Christine. Much loved by his brothers and sister in-laws Ian, Dave and Faye and nieces and nephew Allyson, Hanna and Colin. As Stephen would fondly say his out laws, all the Potts family, Annette, Joe, Tom, Lori, Nigel and Skyler. He enjoyed his work at Matcon Industries and leaves behind work mates and golf partners and many old friends from his days working with his brother Joe and his years in Lake Louise. Stephen lived a life with zest, joy and laughter and, to be honest a bit of controversy. He said what he thought and meant it and was, on occasion, sort of willing to apologize. We have lost a friend, golf partner, dog walker and ski lift companion. Stephen had a big heart and ours are broken now that he has gone. He is at peace and playing golf with his dad and scamming lift tickets. Fist bump, head bump, nose bump, heart bump, go now Steve…. Celebration of Life will be held on November 24, 1:00 pm at Maple Ridge Golf Course at 20818 Golf Lane Maple Ridge 604-465-9221.
