FONG-OLSON, Susan. May 8, 1971 -
September 4, 2014. Susan was born in Suva, Fiji. She was the youngest of eight children. The Fong family immigrated to Swift Current, Saskatchewan when Susan was two years old. The love of her life was her husband William, and her two precious daughters Jaelin & Samarah. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Susan peacefully passed away at the age of 43, with her devoted, loving husband and daughters by her side. Surrounded also by many family & friends. Susan passed away at McKenney Creek Hospice, in Maple Ridge, BC. Susan's joy of her life was being a devoted wife and loving Mommy to her two little daughters. Susan is predeceased by her father, Mr. Fong, and survived by her husband William, daughters Jaelin (6) and Samarah (3). She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Fong, and seven brothers and sisters, as well as many other relatives. Viewing will take place on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00am - 10:00am at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel - 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:30am on Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church - 22561 121 Ave, Maple Ridge. Officiating Priest - Fr. Matthew To. Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
