"A well-respected man about town" ~
January 1955 - December 2021 ~. Sid was born and raised in Maple Ridge. He retired from the City of Burnaby after a successful career of 35 years where he worked his way up to Deputy City Clerk.
He loved to spend his days walking around the MRSS track for his 90-minute regimented daily walk, or carrying his little dog Gizzy for walks. He also enjoyed nothing more than following horse racing.
Sid had an excellent sense of humour and would often double over in uncontrollable laughter. Everyone who knew him could talk for ages since he was the world's greatest listener. He would always ask you more questions, showing that he truly cared.
Sid was kind and caring, someone who you could always count on.
He will be greatly missed by his loved ones and all who knew him.
He is survived by his Aunt Ruth, brother Gary and sister-in-law Stella along with their children; as well as his beloved Geraldine, Stephen, James and his grandchildren.
Celebration of Life to be held on Friday, January 14th at 1 pm at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 - 224th Street, Maple Ridge.
