Terry peacefully passed away with his wife Valerie by his side.
He was predeceased by his late wife Joan and his brother Colin and little sister Maurine.
He leaves 2 children: Mike (Marleen), Colleen (Rob), 4 grandchildren: Stephanie, Jeffrey, Kyle, Gareth and 3 great grandchildren: Christopher, Ava and Jacob.
Terry was a proud Manxman, a surveyor engineer, and a veteran serving in Burma.
He was an avid cyclist and loved gardening and all outdoor activities. Growing up on an island he loved the ocean and chose to have his ashes put to sea. He enjoyed cruising and travel. He enjoyed reading, languages, writing poetry and skits. He was always busy and extremely polite.
Terry enjoyed meeting people and had a good sense of humour and welcoming smile. He was always helpful and hated to be idle or useless.
Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Ridge Meadows Hospital and the Hospice, Pastor Roland, Rev Charles, Colleen, Gerry, Tonya and Rosemary and all the many prayer groups that supported Terry through his journey.
He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
He will always be in our hearts.
