Tom Mathison passed away peacefully with family by his side on October 23, 2018 at the age of 87.
Tom enjoyed his many world travels to Peru, Antarctica, Alaska, and Prague for junior hockey, motorcycling up North and across the Prairies. He, with Dutchie canoed the Slave and Peace Rivers in Northern Alberta. Tom and Dutchie travelled extensively through Great Britain and Europe during Tom's time with R.C.A.F.
They also returned to Great Britain with Heidi and Andy twice to visit Andy's birthplace, more than anything Tom loved his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who called him "Papa".
At Tom's request, there will be no service.
