Kay passed away peacefully at age 78 at Royal Columbia Hospital after a long 3 years of Dialysis treatment at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Royal Columbia Hospital.
Kay is survived by her husband John of 57 years, her sons, Glen (Mariko) and Paul and grandson Robert.
Kay was a kind, quiet woman whose passion was shopping, while raising her two sons and her husband. She also had part time jobs in retail throughout the years in Newmarket Ontario. Her favourite job being Just Kids.
Kay also loved volunteering a lot for school events for both her boys and grandson along with helping teachers at different schools throughout her retirement.
Our deepest thanks and gratitude to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff on 6th floor North at Royal Columbia hospital helping make Kays last days comfortable as could be. Also, not to be forgotten all the fabulous nurses and doctors and staff at the Dialysis unit at Royal Columbia and Abbotsford Regional.
Kay requested no church service, and we will do a little family gathering at a later date.
