JOHNSON, Kenneth Verne
October 25th 1952 - December 8th 2016
Verne, aged 64, passed peacefully away December 8th in Maple Ridge, BC. He will be so dearly missed by his wife Roxanne, step-daughter Hollie (Brian) and grandchildren Grace, Fraser and Joshua. He was a true gentleman with many great friends including Dan, Duke, Doug and Ray who were there for him always throughout his life's journey. Verne spent over 40 years as a greenskeeper and member of the Pitt Meadows Golf Club. He lived for golf and was a dedicated and loyal employee until his final day at the club. Amongst his numerous golfing achievements was breaking the course record at Vancouver Golf Club with a low score of 63 in 1983. He is predeceased by his father Richard, mother Betty and brother Gerry. He is survived by his brother Ross of Kelowna. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rod for his encouragement and support of Verne over the past year. There was no service by Verne's request.
