WHITE, Vivian

Vivian died peacefully in her 93rd year, at Sagebrush Lodge in Osoyoos.
Predeceased by husband Ray [1989], brother Don [1994], grandson David [2001]. Lovingly remembered by sons Edgar [Terri], Ross [Pat], daughters Diane [Ken], Lynne [Bob]. Grandchildren Scott [Ann], Kelli, Chris [Rita ],
Craig [Tammy], Dwayne, Ray [Heather], Greg. Great grandchildren Claire, Adam, Jordan, Tristan, Kate, Duncan , and Elsa. Also survived by brother Alex and sister Cathie [Danny].
Vivian was raised in Alberta, attended Normal school and was a young prairie school teacher before she married Ray in 1936. They farmed in Alberta until 1946 when they moved to Maple Ridge. They owned Maple Ridge grocery store until they retired, then moved to Osoyoos in 1978. They had many friends in Alberta, M.R., and Osoyoos. The family is grateful for the loving care Mom received while in Sagebrush Lodge. She was a woman of courage, joy, and resiliency, who loved life dearly. Vivian's life will be celebrated by a memorial, April 23, 2006, 3pm at St. John the Divine, 21299 River Road, Maple Ridge.
