ABBOTT – WALTER (Walt)
July 18, 1925 – January 26, 2006
Sadly and unexpectedly in the early morning hours of January 26th, our beloved Papa Abbott passed away. His sense of humour and love for his family and friends will be dearly missed by those who knew him best. Survived by his wife of 55 years Evelyn; son Trent of Mission, daughter Tracey and son-in-law Tom of Maple Ridge and four very special grandchildren – Kaili and Eric Abbott and Rylee and Reanna Bowen. They were the light of his life. A graveside blessing will be held Thursday, February 2nd at 2:00 P.M. at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends are also encouraged to attend an open house “celebration” of Walter’s life on Saturday, February 4th between the hours of 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Tracey and Tom’s residence. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Walter’s name.
