GRESCHNER, Wesley Gerard

1959 - 2016

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Wesley Gerard Greschner on Sept. 9, 2016 in Langley, BC. Wes was born in 1959 in Humbolt, Saskatchewan. He has lived and worked in many cities, but did not find his 'home' until he made his way to the West Coast of B.C. In Vancouver, Wes met and married Catherine DiPalma in 1987. Wes and Catherine chose Maple Ridge as their home where they raised their two boys. In the summer, Wes and Catherine and friends and family would spend time in the Shuswap, and in the winter, they loved the sun and beach in Zihuantanejo, Mexico. Wes was firmly established in the B.C. auto industry, where he made many lifelong friends. Most recently, he became a Mortgage Broker, switching careers to one that no doubt he would be equally successful at. Wes was a committed and caring husband, father, brother and friend who went out of his way to help where, when, and how he was needed. His integrity was unquestionable; his word rock-solid and his sense of humor well recognized.

Wes is survived and sadly missed by his loving wife Catherine and two sons Jordan and Ryan, and is remembered with warmth and a chuckle by his brothers and sisters, Frank (Kathy), Carole (Bill) Stang, Gail (Richard) Charnetski, Morley (Isabella), Rick (Shelley), Jim (Audrey), and Callie Snell, father-in-law Tony DiPalma, and sisters-in-law Cheryl (Randy) Jenks, Michelle (Joe) Sigurdur and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Gabriel (1985) and Bernadette (2010) and mother-in-law Marion DiPalma (2016).

Please join the family in a celebration of Wes' life on Monday Jan 16 at Meadow Gardens Golf Club (19675 Meadow Gardens Way, Pitt Meadows) from 2:00 - 5:00 PM, when we will share memories, shed a tear, and laugh out loud. Light refreshments served. In lieu of flowers, your donation to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca) is appreciated.
