LASEUR Willem (Bill)
1919 ~ 2009
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of husband, father and opa, Willem (Bill) Laseur, late of Ridge-Meadows. Bill, born in 1919, in Amersfoort, Holland, came to Canada in 1951. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Greet; daughter Rita; son Len (Sandi); two grandchildren, Lane and Mitch; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews in Holland and Canada, and many friends. Bill worked for Pitt Polder Limited until his early retirement at 64. Dad loved hockey, soccer, and family and worked hard in whatever task was undertaken.
We would like to give heartfelt thanks to the staff at Baillie House (Webster’s Corners) for their kind, thoughtful, and patient caring of Dad.
A “Remembrance of Bill will be held at MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 26th. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s name, to the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
