Passed away peacefully in St. Mary's Hospital, Sechelt, B.C on January 13, 2011 after a difficult battle with cancer. He leaves his loving wife Betty, 6 children - Vicki, Bruce, Dean, Mark, Craig and Katrina - their spouses, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was cremated and a celebration of his life was held on January 22, 2011.
Betty and family wish to express their deepest appreciation and thanks to Dr. Wadge, Dr. Smiljancic, Dr. Hoag and in particular to Dr. Tim McDowell for his caring and support throughout this difficult time. As well, our thanks to all nursing staff who were involved in his care both at home and at St. Mary's hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
