August 20, 1939 - September 24, 2019
On September 24, 2019 our Dad, "The Captain" flew off on his final adventure to be with our Mum Dorothy, who left us in June 1995.
"I didn't want to say goodbye for the Summer
Knowing the love we'll miss,
So let us make a pledge to meet in September
And seal it with a kiss"
Dad is survived by his 3 children. Although Dave was known to many as a very accomplished pilot, to his three children he was simply known as Dad. He leaves behind Tracey (Marc), Susan (David), and Michael. "Papa" was also known for his absolute adoration and dedication to his 4 granddaughters Nicole (Matt), Amy (Joel), Julia and Alex. Recently, he was thrilled to meet the newest member of our little clan, his first great-granddaughter "Pip" Emma Dorothy.
Dave was also predeceased by partner Diane Mann and is survived by partner Wendy Brady, who not only supported Dad through his illness, but all of us as well.
