William George "Angus"
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Angus who passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 at age 89 years. Angus is predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Jenny, and survived by his daughter, Catherine. Angus was born in the Shetland Islands, North of Scotland. He served in the Royal Air Force during World War II and then met his wife Jenny and in 1946 they moved to Burlington, Ontario where they made their home for 47 years. They moved to Pitt Meadows, BC in 1993 to be closer to Catherine. Angus lived life to the fullest and had a passion for dancing and enjoyed "rounds and squares" at the Maple Ridge Seniors Centre. Angus enjoyed cruising and he loved all the kids. He was also an active member of the Coquitlam and Maple Ridge Lawn Bowling Clubs until a year ago. Angus will be greatly missed by family and friends. Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 12th at 1PM at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765-224th Street Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
