It is with great sadness that the family of William Sorokowsky announces his passing after complications due to hip surgery on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the age of nearly 87 years.
Bill is predeceased by his beloved wife, Georgina, and siblings Vic, Sue, Lil. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Al (Denise), Rick (Verna), Pete (Deb), John, Sue (Jesus) and Mike.
Bill will also be fondly remembered by his forty one grandchildren and great grandchildren and by his two sisters, Roseanne and Gussie, and his many nephews and nieces, as well his beloved dog and faithful companion, Kokoe.
Covid dictates that here are no large services at this time, but that cannot outshine the love, hope and spirit he leaves behind for which we are eternally grateful. Now together with Mom as heaven's angels, they'll forever be in our hearts. RIP.
There will be a celebration of life in the future with details TBA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, SPCA or BC Hospitals.
