Died peacefully at Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission, BC, at the age of 91.

Wilson leaves his wife Nora (nee Young); his sister Eunyce Bishop, his daughters; Donna MacKenzie and Stella (Gary) Cleave, grandchildren; Amanda, Samantha, Andrew, Hamish (Stacey), Ceilidh (Dan), and Joseph (Kristy); great-grandchildren; Sage, Julia, Mackenzie, Elle, Jazzlyn, Ethan, baby Grace and eagerly awaited "bonnage". He was predeceased by his brother Donald Russell Mackenzie.

Born in Dundurn, SK, Wilson was a long time resident of Haney, moving to Aldergrove and recently to Abbotsford. He and his brother Don operated MacKenzie's Hardware in Haney after the death of their father. Wilson served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII, was a member of Prince David Lodge of The Masonic Order, a charter member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 88 Pipe Band, and retired from the Maple Ridge Fire Department. He loved woodworking, music, boating and sports ( in his earlier years he played lacrosse, baseball, and he curled).

A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 26 at 1: 30 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC.
