Passed quietly at Willow Manor, her home for the past 5 years. Pre- deceased by her husband George (1996) and granddaughter Krystal Hogarth (1987). Survived by sons Ralph (Ursula) – Courtney, Al (Deb) – Maple Ridge, daughter Louise (Len) Petrovich – Langley, grandchildren Michelle (Mike) Vecchio, Lyle (Natalie) Petrovich, Aleesha Hogarth, great granddaughters Devon and Lita, and various other extended family members.
Win was born in Winnipeg and met George, her husband of 55 years, they moved to Vancouver and started their family then moved to Maple Ridge where Win worked at Brown’s Drug store on 8th Ave. They opened HOGIE’S Drive Inn on Lougheed Hwy in Maple Ridge. Upon retirement they moved to the Okanagan. She then moved back to Maple Ridge in 1997 and resided where she could see the Golden Ears Mountains, which she had always loved.
Win’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. D. Chapman and special skills, and the many caring, thoughtful staff of Willow Manor.
Memorial Service to be held Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at 1:00p.m. at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 – 224th St., Maple Ridge, B.C.
