Passed away peacefully at Kootenay Lake District Hospital, Nelson, B.C. on December 4, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Yvonne was born January 29, 1954 in Vancouver, B.C. She and her son Danny moved to New Denver in 1987 where she met Dan, married and had two more wonderful children, Nichole and Devin.
She loved living in the Kootenays where she gardened, canned, hobby farmed and excelled in being a super Mom. She also leaves behind her sisters Jackie (Bud), Kim (Dave), Carrie (Art) plus brothers Mike (Vickie), Kenny (Keri), Auntie Gwen, Uncle Wilf, Grandma Alida, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
