Much has been said about changing the way garbage is being dealt with in Maple Ridge. Please do not change anything as things are fine the way they are.
We are not interested in having the garbage picked up, at a cost, some suggest, of about $360 per year.
Presently, we pay less then $60 a year for a family of two and the pickup of recyclables weekly takes care of most of the matter.
Having lived here since 1974, we have never had an issue with garbage disposal and fail to see why anyone would want to pay perhaps five or six times more.
