Re: Extra Foods strike ends after 3 years (The News, April 25).
I just want to send a huge message of congratulations to the union members who held out for three long years, fighting for a decent contract from Extra Foods.
It is almost unbelievable that you were able to keep fighting for such an incredibly long time.
It has been hard for some of us to avoid shopping at the Real Canadian Superstore because of its affiliation with Extra Foods, but now that you have finally achieved your goal, I will not feel the same reluctance to give them my business.
Congratulations. You are an amazing bunch of people.
