It’s hockey, it’s played on ice. Ice is frozen water. Frozen water is cold. Bundle up, take a blanket, wear some mitts and a good old-fashioned Canadian toque.

Cheer loudly, it’ll keep you warm.

What next can one whine about? Hard wooden arena bench seats … if so, I have an answer for that one too. They are called cushions.  Heat on or off, I choose to watch my grandson play hockey every game I can.  Sometimes the heaters are on, other times they are not. I don’t care, I’m just grateful there is a place where he can play and where I can watch.
