Editor, The News:
This letter is directed at the driver of a Mazda 3, who was casually tossing lit cigarettes out the window onto Fern Crescent Monday morning (while, by the way, yakking on the cell phone with the other hand.)
Are you aware that we are in a high risk fire hazard situation?
Are you aware that what happened recently in Peachland, could easily happen here as well?
Please excuse me, but I value our neighborhood and forests more than the cleanliness of your ashtray.
