Let me see if I understand this.
Our government lies to us prior to an election about bringing in a tax called HST. For that the federal government gives B.C. $1.6 billion. The people of B.C. vote to get rid of this nefarious tax, but the federal government demands its full $1.6 billion back, over five years. This, despite the fact that it made a huge amount of money off the despised tax, and our provincial liberal government agrees.
So far in the 12 years of Liberal rule, my perception of the British Columbia party is it has been the most corrupt, secretive, incompetent and self-indulgent group of ‘leaders’ I know. No wonder apathy is rife and the voting is polarized.
Don’t let apathy win, get out and let your voice be heard.
