Dear Editor,

[Re: Maple Ridge's mayor Ruimy returned to Metro Housing committee, Jan. 17, The News]

I was dismayed to read that yet again Mayor Dan Ruimy is going on another committee on homelessness.

Ridiculous waste of our tax dollars.

Even before Ruimy became the mayor he attended forums on homelessness.

Enough!

The monies for this should be used to help people who are homeless.

We already have the knowledge of this topic.

Unfortunately, more monies spent on these committees does not really help the people who are homeless.
