Re: ‘Protect us’ from wild fire, say Maple Ridge residents (The News, July 30).
If Coun. Mike Morden is serious about sprinklers protecting homeowners during a forest fire, he is very misinformed.
Whether or not we live in a rain forest, there is always a danger of fire.
An indoor sprinkler system would be of no use during a forest fire.
Perhaps he should watch a few documentaries about nature’s fury before making such ridiculous statements.
