Letters: Someone please explain our fluctuating gas prices

Strange that gas stations change their prices within 10 minutes of each other.

Editor, The News:

Can anyone tell me why it seems Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are the only communities where prices for gas are $.05 higher in the morning than in the late afternoon?

I know that the gas companies would like us to believe they are not simply gouging us, so there must be another reason. Any ideas?

It also seems strange that all the gas stations change their prices within 10 minutes of each other.

I for one am tired of being gouged. Bring on the electric cars. But then I suppose we would have to pay more for electricity because of a shortage.
