Where is the big sinkhole?
With the HST voted out, B.C. Liberal supporters claim that the government will receive less taxes, the business community will pay more taxes, so I must ask – who is getting the extra tax? I don’t think I will get any of it.
And I seem to recall two years ago that former premier Gordon Campbell said the HST was revenue neutral to the government. How come it was when it was coming in, but isn’t when it goes out? Did I miss something or were we lied to?
