Time to pack up and leave Maple Ridge

Are the nature of the killings and placement of parts a sign of a new, more human target in the future?

Re: Expert called to investigate cat deaths (The News, June 6).

Maple Ridge is starting to feel like an unsafe place for my children to grow up in.

The latest placement of a severed cat head was at Harry Hooge elementary during school hours, to be discovered by a young student, which was probably very traumatizing.

Many prolific serial killers started out maiming, torturing, and mutilating animals. Is the school placement of the poor cat’s head a sign that the killer might move on to human targets, namely children?

It’s sick that the killer is taking a beloved family member such as a cat and gruesomely vivisecting it.

I know the RCMP and SPCA are trying their best to locate this individual, but I believe that citizens need to be as vigilant as possible when it comes to catching this predator.

Why does he make these killings a public statement?

How come it all came out so suddenly and frequently since July last year?

Are the nature of the killings and placement of parts a sign of a new, more human target in the future?

It’s precisely these questions I have that make me feel unsafe in this community, want to pack up and leave.
