What a performance

Attendees were asked to bring canned goods or cash donations as an entry fee to this event – Macbeth – A Midsummer’s Nightmare.

Editor, The News:

During the past two weeks, performances were held by the Emerald Pig Theatrical Society in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Attendees were asked to bring canned goods or cash donations as an entry fee to this event – Macbeth – A Midsummer’s Nightmare.

During the performances in Pitt Meadows on July 18-21, cash donations received were $642 and food donations weighed in at 725 pounds.

The Maple Ridge production ran from July 25-28 and raised an additional $588 and 505 pounds.

The total for both productions was: $1,230 and 1,230 pounds of food. How strange is that?
